I was born in Hartselle and attended F.E. Burleson for elementary school. After graduating from Hartselle High, I went to The University of Alabama where I received a degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. I began teaching in 2012 and was so excited to be back in Hartselle and at Burleson in 2014. In 2019 I received my Masters in Library Science at The University of West Alabama.

 

I taught PreK at Burleson for 8 years and I am now F.E. Burleson's Librarian.

 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, playing tennis, running, and being with my husband, friends and family. I am very active in my community and love being involved in many organizations.
